Atlas Shrugged aren't looking to move the world- maybe just a few who happen to be listening. Writing from the worldly perspective of two middle class suburban college kids from a G-8 nation, when the weather and humidity are just right these guys lay down a feel as smooth as fine satin lace. "Powerpop Grunge" is probably a fair term to apply, with driving drums and a rich, full guitar sound that ranges from a pretty, light, ringing, high-end feel in "Wandering" to a dark, hard, classic-grunge tone in "Love Me". The vocals wander into the folky, story-telling variety, while always staying true to the poprock imperative of catchy, singable, and meaningful taglines like "And be free" and "I went out wandering".
