There Goes the Studio as we know it was formed around the beginning of 2008 in a place called Kentucky. Formed by four young teens who had never been in a band before, There Goes the Studio had to start from scratch. At first, the band was satisfied with working on cover songs by artists such as Incubus, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, The Treez, and Jordin Sparks. But this was not enough for our entrepid group of musical revolutionaries. As far as they can remember, their first original song was Mystery Song. It sucked. All copies of it have been burned. Please do not speak of it. The group put this behind them as they went on to release the much loved, It Matters to Me. The song's powerful lyrics speak of a man who has alienated himself from society, with all its rules and judgements. Once they released It Matters to Me, there was no going back. They struggled to find an identity at first, but have experienced a musical rebirth with songs such as Happening and Better Place.
